Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — The Perfect Bite Co. is voluntarily recalling its MEXICAN STYLE STREET CORN BITE because the product contains Cotija cheese that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, a bacterium that can cause serious or fatal infections in young children, the elderly, pregnant women and people with weakened immune systems. Consumers are advised not to eat or serve the product and should stop using it immediately.
The recalled item is MEXICAN STYLE STREET CORN BITE, identified by lot code(s): 223231 and Best By: 02/21/2025, printed on the right-hand side panel of the box. These trays have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025 online and at select U.S. retailers, and were distributed in Costco warehouses in California and Hawaii.
Consumers who have purchased MEXICAN STYLE STREET CORN BITE lot code 223231 should dispose of the product or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
