Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — World Green Nutrition, Inc. has recalled ELV ALIPOTEC Mexican Tejocote Root Supplement Pieces (Net Wt. 0.3 oz/7 g) because the product has been found to contain toxic yellow oleander, which can cause serious or fatal neurological, gastrointestinal and cardiovascular effects, including nausea, vomiting, dizziness, diarrhea, abdominal pain, heart changes and arrhythmia. Consumers who possess the identified products should stop using them immediately and not consume them.

The product has been sold through authorized distributors in the United States (online and at select U.S. retailers) and have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025; it is packaged in a white polyethylene container with a green polypropylene lid, a heat-shrinkable PET-G label and an authenticity hologram, and is marked with lot codes and expiration dates for identification.
