Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Hampton Farms has recalled two 8-ounce mixed-nut products because the packaging failed to include hazelnuts in the allergen warning, posing a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reaction to consumers with hazelnut allergy or severe sensitivity; consumers who have these products should not eat them and should stop using them immediately. No illnesses have been reported to date. The recall is being conducted with the knowledge of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
The affected products are Mixed Nuts Roasted Unsalted (lot code(s) 23025; UPC 8 10111 02237 8) and Mixed Nuts Roasted and Salted (lot code(s) 23825; UPC 8 10111 02236 1). The firm discovered the labeling error on Sept. 15, 2025. These tubs have been sold since Sept. 2, 2025, online and at select U.S. retailers, including Stop & Shop stores in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York and Rhode Island.
Consumers who purchased the listed products may return them to the place of purchase for a full refund or dispose of them.
