Recall Details
Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Yummi Sushi LLC. is assisting Kroger and SunFed Produce LLC in a voluntary recall of prepackaged cucumber products because they may be contaminated with Salmonella, which can cause fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and more serious illness in vulnerable people. Consumers should not eat the recalled products and should stop using them immediately; discard any product in their possession or follow retailer return instructions. Public health authorities have linked illnesses to these cucumbers between Oct. 12 and Nov. 15, 2024.
The recalled items include clear-plastic grab-and-go packages of cut cucumbers sold under Kroger store labels; affected items are identified by specific lot code(s) and a Best By date printed on the package label. These products have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers, primarily Kroger stores in Texas, and have been sold since Sept. 15, 2024. Consumers should compare lot code(s) and Best By dates on their packages to recall information available from the retailer or the manufacturer.
Consumers with questions or seeking a refund or replacement should return the product to the place of purchase or dispose of it and contact SunFed’s recall hotline at (888) 542-5849, Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. MST, or email [email protected] for assistance. If you are unsure whether your product is included, check retailer recall notices or contact the store for guidance; those experiencing symptoms consistent with Salmonella infection should seek medical attention and inform their provider of possible exposure.
