Cal Yee Farm LLC Issues Allergy Alert on Undeclared Milk, Soy, Wheat, Sesame, FD&C #6 and Almonds in Snack Products

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Cal Yee Farm LLC has recalled a range of chocolate- and yogurt-coated nuts and fruit, trail mixes and confections because they may contain undeclared milk, soy, wheat, sesame, FD&C Yellow #6 and almonds, posing a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reactions; consumers with allergies or severe sensitivities should stop using the products immediately and do not eat them. The company says no illnesses have been reported to date and that the recall follows an FDA inspection that found allergen-containing products were packaged without proper labeling.

The recall covers Cal Yee’s and Cal Yee Farm branded items including Yogurt Coated Almonds (lot code(s): YOG0188, YOG0101), Dark Chocolate Raisins (CON0788), Dark Chocolate Walnuts (CON0688), Dark Chocolate Almonds (CON0588), Dark Chocolate Apricots (CON0188), Butter Toffee Almonds (ALM2588, ALM2501 and Boa Vista Orchards 6 oz pouch), Tropical Trail Mix (TRM0488, TRM0401, TRM0402, TRM0405), Mango with Chili (MAN0488, MAN0401), Cajun Sesame Hot Sticks (SES0501), New Orleans Hot Mix (TRM0601) and Fruit Basket 2909/2921 (BAS2909, BAS2921). The products have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers and through Cal Yee Farm’s retail store in Suisun Valley, Calif., and Boa Vista Orchards in Placerville, Calif., and have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025; consumers should check packaging for the listed lot code(s) and UPCs before consuming.
