Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Rudolph Foods has recalled 39 cases of Rudolph’s OnYums “Onion Flavored Rings” 3 oz. packages because they may contain undeclared wheat and other sensitive ingredients, creating a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reaction for people with wheat allergy or severe sensitivity; consumers should stop using the product immediately and not eat it. The company says the contamination resulted from a manufacturing error that placed a wheat‑containing Chile & Limon puffed wheat chip into Onion Flavored Rings packaging. No illnesses have been reported to date.
The recalled product is Rudolph’s OnYums “Onion Flavored Rings,” 3 oz., UPC 0-24622-57106-9, with code date AUG 3, 2023 and time stamps 02:00–04:30; this lot information appears in the top right corner on the front of the package and is listed as lot code(s) AUG 3, 2023 (time stamps 02:00–04:30). The products have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers, including select Dollar Tree stores in Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Wisconsin and Wyoming, and have been sold since Aug. 3, 2023.
Consumers who have purchased the recalled items are advised to dispose of them or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund and should not consume the product.
