East Hanover, N.J., Nov. 28, 2025 — Mondelēz Global LLC has issued a voluntary recall of certain RITZ Peanut Butter Cracker Sandwiches after discovering that individually wrapped packs inside some cartons may be incorrectly labeled as the Cheese variety, creating a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reactions for people with peanut allergies. Consumers with a peanut allergy should not eat these products and should stop using them immediately.
The recall covers 27.6 oz. RITZ Peanut Butter Cracker Sandwiches (20 count) with retail UPC 44000 07584 2 and Best When Used By dates 8 JAN 26 and 15 JAN 26 with “AE” plant code (lot code(s) shown on top of package). These items have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Alabama and have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025. No other RITZ products or Mondelēz products are included in this recall, and outer cartons are labeled correctly with an allergen advisory stating “contains peanuts.”
Consumers who have the affected product should discard it or return it to the place of purchase for a refund or replacement; retain proof of purchase if requesting a refund.
