Publix Voluntarily Recalls GreenWise Pear, Kiwi, Spinach & Pea Baby Food Pouches Due to Lead

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Publix Super Markets, Inc. has recalled GreenWise Pear, Kiwi, Spinach & Pea Baby Food 4‑ounce pouches because routine testing found elevated levels of lead that pose a health risk to infants and young children; consumers should stop using the product immediately and keep it away from children. The company says there have been no reported illnesses to date and that potentially impacted products have been removed from store shelves with notification to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Recalled product: GreenWise Pear, Kiwi, Spinach & Pea Baby Food, 4 oz, lot code(s): 41415 – 00901, Best If Used By: 11/01/2025. The item has been sold online and at select U.S. retailers and Publix stores in the company’s eight‑state operating area (Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia and Kentucky) and have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025. Consumers should check packaging for the listed lot code(s) and discard any matching pouches.

Consumers may return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund or dispose of it following local guidance for household waste; do not feed recalled product to children.
