Best Buy Bones, Inc. Recalls Nature’s Own Pet Chews Bully Bites Because of Possible Salmonella Health Risk

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Best Buy Bones, Inc. of Mount Morris, Mich., has recalled four lots of Nature’s Own Pet Chews Bully Bites 1‑pound (16 oz.) bags because the products have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. Salmonella can make pets sick and can pose a risk to humans who handle contaminated pet products; consumers should stop using the product immediately and should not feed it to pets or other animals.

The recalled product is Nature’s Own Pet Chews Bully Bites, UPC 739598900750, sold in 16‑ounce resealable plastic pouches with a best‑buy date of September 2027 and lot code(s) 19379, 19380, 19381 and 19382. Thirty‑four bags were distributed from Minnesota and have been sold since Sept. 23, 2025, online and at select U.S. retailers, primarily in Wisconsin.

Consumers who purchased the identified 16‑ounce bags after Sept. 23, 2025, should return them to the place of purchase for a refund or request a replacement, or dispose of them so children, pets and wildlife cannot access them; do not sell or donate the product. Wash and sanitize any bowls, containers and surfaces that contacted the product and wash hands thoroughly after handling.
