Perrigo Announces Voluntary Recall of Limited Quantity of Gerber® Good Start® SootheProTM Powdered Infant Formula

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Perrigo Company plc has issued a voluntary recall of certain Gerber® Good Start® SoothePro™ powdered infant formula sold in the U.S. because of the potential presence of Cronobacter sakazakii, a bacteria that can cause serious illness in very young or immunocompromised infants. Consumers who have purchased the identified products should stop using them immediately and should not feed them to infants.

The recall covers specific lot code(s) of Gerber® Good Start® SoothePro™ in 12.4 oz, 19.4 oz and 30.6 oz sizes. Affected lot code(s) and “use by” dates include, for example, 300357651Z (USE BY 04JUL2024), 300457651Z (USE BY 05JUL2024), 300557651Z/300557652Z (USE BY 06JUL2024), 300757651Z (USE BY 08JUL2024), 300857651Z (USE BY 09JUL2024), 301057651Z/301057652Z (USE BY 11JUL2024), 301157651Z (USE BY 12JUL2024), 301357652Z (USE BY 14JUL2024), 301457652Z (USE BY 15JUL2024) and 301557651Z/301557652Z (USE BY 16JUL2024). These products have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers and have been sold since Jan. 2, 2023; no other lot codes or Perrigo products are affected.

Consumers with impacted product should discontinue use and either dispose of the product or return it to the place of purchase for a refund or replacement.
