Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — The Quaker Oats Company has expanded a recall to include an additional granola bar and certain granola cereals and snacks because they may be contaminated with Salmonella, which can cause fever, diarrhea, vomiting and, in severe cases, bloodstream infections. Consumers are advised to stop using the listed products immediately and either dispose of them or follow the company’s return instructions to avoid potential illness.
The recalled items include specified granola bars and cereals with the following lot code(s): [lot code(s) listed on company website]. The products have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers, and have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025 (some discontinued items carry "Best Before" dates in early 2024).
