Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Albertsons Companies is voluntarily recalling 12 ReadyMeals and store-made deli items supplied by Fresh Creative Foods, a division of Reser’s Fine Foods, Inc., because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The contamination stems from a recalled ready-to-eat chicken ingredient supplied by BrucePac of Durant, Okla.; Listeria can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in vulnerable populations. Consumers are urged not to eat these products and to stop using them immediately.

The recalled products include a range of ready meals and deli salads with the following lot code(s) and sell‑through dates: READY MEALS STREET TACOS CHICKEN (lot code(s) up to and including Oct. 13, 2024), READY MEALS STREET TACO MEAL CHICKEN (lot code(s) up to and including Oct. 13, 2024), ENCHILADA CHICKEN GREEN 6CT (lot code(s) up to and including Oct. 13, 2024), SALAD GINGER CHICKEN BROCCOLI (lot code(s) up to and including Oct. 13, 2024), READY MEALS SALAD CAESAR CHICKEN and related bowl items (lot code(s) up to and including Oct. 11, 2024), READY MEALS ASIAN STIR FRY (lot code(s) up to and including Oct. 13, 2024), and other similarly labeled ReadyMeals and deli items listed in company and FSIS notices. These items have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025, online and at select U.S. retailers including Albertsons, Safeway and affiliated banners in multiple states across the West, Midwest and Northeast.

Consumers who purchased the recalled items should dispose of them or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund; those seeking a replacement or refund may request one through store customer service. Anyone who is pregnant, elderly, immunocompromised or who develops flu‑like symptoms, fever, headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain or diarrhea within two months after eating a recalled product should seek medical care and tell their provider about possible Listeria exposure.
