Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Spectrum Brands Pet LLC has issued a voluntary recall of Tetra ReptoMin 3-In-1 SELECT-A-FOOD reptile food because a component of the product may be contaminated with Salmonella, posing a risk to humans and animals. Consumers should stop using the affected product immediately and avoid handling it; do not feed it to pets and wash hands and any surfaces or utensils that have come into contact with the product.
The recall affects Tetra ReptoMin 3-In-1 SELECT-A-FOOD packaged in a 1.56 oz plastic container with UPC 0 46798 78626 9 and lot code(s) 951790. The lot code is printed on the bottom of the container. The product has been sold online and at select U.S. retailers — including Petco, Walmart, Chewy, Amazon, and Meijer — and have been sold since May 6, 2025 through May 16, 2025.
Consumers should dispose of or return the recalled product to the retailer for a full refund or request a replacement through the point of purchase.
