Diva Fam Inc. Announces Voluntary Recall Of Sea Moss Gel Superfood Products Due to Possible Health Risk

Los Angeles, Jan. 9, 2026 — Diva Fam Inc. has voluntarily recalled all lots and flavors of True Sea Moss brand Sea Moss Gel Superfood packaged in 16 FL OZ (473 mL) glass jars because required regulatory authorization and temperature monitoring records for pH‑controlled food products are not available, creating a potential risk of microbial growth and toxins associated with botulism. Consumers are advised to stop using the product immediately and not consume it.

The recall covers all flavors and batch numbers (lot code(s) indicated by manufacture date format MM/YYYY on the can lid) of Sea Moss Gel Superfood manufactured prior to Jan. 9, 2026. Affected flavors include Mango, Pineapple, Wildcrafted, Apple and Cinnamon, Elderberry, Passion Fruit, Blue Spirulina and Raspberry, Strawberry, Cherry, Mango and Pineapple, 5 Blends in 1, Soursop, Lemon Pie and Orange, sold online and at select U.S. retailers and have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025. The matter was identified during a California Department of Public Health inspection and the company is cooperating with regulatory authorities.

Consumers who purchased the affected products should dispose of them or return them to the place of purchase for a refund or replacement; if unsure how to proceed, follow instructions from the retailer.
