The recall follows confirmation by the manufacturer that almond flour was present though almond was not listed on the scale label after a staff member experienced a mild reaction. Product identification: Strawberry Rhubarb Bakewell Tart sold in plastic clamshell containers with a black-and-white New Seasons Market scale label; all best-if-used-by dates are included in the recall. Distribution and sales: the tarts have been sold at Bakery and Pastry departments in New Seasons Market stores in Oregon and Washington, online and at select U.S. retailers, and have been sold since March 22, 2024; the product carries a five-day shelf life.
