Germantown, N.Y., Jan. 14, 2026 — Hudson Harvest is voluntarily recalling Hudson Harvest Tomato Basil Sauce after reports of swelling, leaking or bursting jars indicate the product may have been under-processed, creating a risk of spoilage organisms or pathogens; consumers should stop using the product immediately and not eat it. No illnesses have been reported to date.

The recall applies to 16-ounce glass jars of Hudson Harvest Tomato Basil Sauce with lot code(s) 1042426 and UPC 683720301567. The UPC appears above the barcode and the lot code is printed on the side of the jar. These jars have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers in New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts and have been sold since May 1, 2024, through June 30, 2024.

Consumers should not use the product even if it appears normal; return it to the place of purchase for a full refund or dispose of it following local guidance.
