Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — JFE Franchising, Inc. of Houston, Texas, has recalled multiple SNOWFRUIT fresh-prepared produce items because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, a bacteria that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in vulnerable populations; consumers should not eat the products and should stop using them immediately. To protect health, affected consumers are urged to discard the products or return them to the place of purchase and seek medical attention if they develop symptoms such as fever, headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain or diarrhea; pregnant women should consult their healthcare provider due to risk of miscarriage or stillbirth. No illnesses or consumer complaints have been reported to date.

The recalled items include SNOWFRUIT Butternut Squash Cubes (UPC 639123880352), Chopped Cilantro with White Onion (UPC 639123880062), Diced Pepper Tri-Blend (UPC 639123880024), Diced Pepper with White Onion (UPC 639123880048), Fajita Mix Hot (UPC 639123880406), Fajita Mix Mild (UPC 639123880390), Guacamole & Pico de Gallo Combo (UPC 639123880574), Guacamole Chunky Medium (UPC 639123880161), Guacamole Chunky Mild (UPC 639123880154), Pico de Gallo Classic Hot (UPC 639123880116), Pico de Gallo Classic Medium (UPC 639123880093), Pico de Gallo Classic Mild (UPC 639123880109), Salsa Medium (UPC 639123880185), Salsa Mild (UPC 639123880178), Snacking Peppers (UPC 639123880260), Diced Jalapeno (UPC 639123880031) and Guacamole Blender Mild (UPC 639123880789). Affected lot code(s) include, but are not limited to, CBMA128F, CBMA232F, CBMA264F, CBMA273F and multiple CDMA and LV codes; all items were packed between July 6 and July 19, 2024, and have been sold since July 6, 2024, online and at select U.S. retailers (including Kroger stores in Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and West Virginia and Jay C Food stores in Indiana). Consumers should check product labels for the listed sell-by dates and lot code(s) to confirm whether their purchase is affected.
