7. Papaya Puree

  • Papaya is rich in vitamin C, soluble fiber, and enzymes that aid digestion, so it's an ideal food to help relieve your baby's constipation or tummy troubles. But with a higher acidity than many other fruits, you'd better wait until 7 or 8 months old before introducing papayas.
  • Slice peeled papaya in half, lengthwise, and remove the seeds, then scoop out the flesh of the papaya with a spoon. Puree in a food processor until smooth. Add water as needed to reach the desired consistency.
