3. Use a pizza peel

Once you get your preheated cooking surface, the problem goes: how do you move a loaded pie onto the boiling pizza stone? Here comes the pizza peel to help. Lightly flour the surface, let the pie slide off itself, and you'll get your crisp and chewy crust done without accidentally burning yourself! If a pizza peel is not available, you can also easily fake one using a turned-over cookie sheet.
