4. Fruit Juices
If you're on a diet, drinking only juice or smoothies for breakfast won't make you drop the scales, but rather can be counterproductive. High levels of sugar in fruit juices can increase your risk of obesity, metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes, and other diseases. Meanwhile, due to the lack of fat or fiber intake, the spike and decline in blood sugar after drinking juice can be accelerated, making you feel quickly tired, sleepy, and hungry.
