With the participation of more than 158 million people, the 2020 presidential election has been predicted to have the highest turnouts since 1990. Due to different timelines and deadlines of postal votes in each state, there has been a delay in declaring the result.
What's the deadline for mail-in ballots in the several remaining states?
- Pennsylvania accepts postal votes until 11/6, as long as they postmarked by election day. The state has 20 electoral votes.
- Georgie claims that postal ballots must be received by 7 pm on election day. The state has 16 electoral votes.
- North Carolina accepts postal votes until 11/12, as long as they postmarked by election day. The state has 15 electoral votes.
- Alaska accepts postal votes until 11/13, as long as they postmarked by election day. The state has 3 electoral votes.
