Democratic candidate Biden says he feels "very good about where we stand" and has "no doubt" he will be the winner. President Trump expresses his confidence in the election in a completely different way than his competitor. Trump claimed victory on both Facebook and Twitter late Tuesday night. He said it again at the White House early Wednesday morning: "we were getting ready to win this election. Frankly, we did win this election".

Trump has always been strongly against mail-in ballots, claiming that they are subjected to "tremendous fraud". Meanwhile, Democratic candidate Biden declares "each ballot must be counted". He also appeals for patience and calmness because "democracy is sometimes messy".
