5. Processed Meat

Most of you who have watched the show What Health on Netflix probably know what we are going to discuss next. Yes, the processed meats, such as sausages, are full of nitrites and high in salt. As we mentioned before, foods high in salt can cause high blood pressure and heart diseases, and nitrites are even a potential contributor to cancer! It's acceptable to eat them occasionally, but daily consumption of 50 grams of processed meat(about the equivalent of one hot dog or four strips of bacon) is likely to increase your risk of getting colorectal cancer by 18%. Keep this standard in mind and never consume it excessively again!
