1. Eat A Variety Of Plants
Generally speaking, the more diverse the gut microbes (live microorganisms in gut), the healthier your gut would be, and the stronger your immunity would be. Eating a wide variety of plants kills two birds with one stone: introducing a wide range of microbiota to your gut and providing fuel and food for them. The latter involves the digestion of fiber, which plants are rich in. Some dietitians recommend targeting 20 to 30 types of plants a week.
